Description

Designed for quiet, smooth, low-dust stops, this ADVICS brake pad set (part number AD1508) is an Ultra-Premium ceramic front pad set that uses approved ceramic friction materials for consistent braking performance. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer, 2012-2019 Ford Taurus and 2011-2019 Ford Flex, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. Ceramic friction: ADVICS's ceramic friction material is integrally molded to a fine blank steel backing plate and is designed for quiet, safe and reliable braking.
OE-mirrored slots and chamfers: The pads are developed and tested against OEM specifications. They are slotted and chamfered to mirror the original design and help reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).
Multi-layer shims: Black multi-layer pad shims, built to OE-level specifications, help keep noise low and reduce vibration.
Hardware kit included: The box includes mounting hardware, abutment clips, pad shims and a mechanical pad wear sensor. Brake lubricant is not included.
