Akebono ProACT Disc Brake Pad Set P/N:ACT1120
Akebono ProACT ACT785 brake pad for the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles presses ceramic friction material against the rotor to slow the vehicle. It is sold as a disc brake pad kit.
A squeal or grinding when you brake, longer stops or a pull to one side can mean the pads are worn. Rotors, calipers and hardware can cause similar signs, so have the pad thickness and rotor surfaces inspected with the engine off, as part of a brake service, before you decide.
Fitment includes the 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe and the 1999-2006 GMC Sierra 1500, with one per application. Driving something else? Run your year and model through the Buyer's Guide tab to see if it is covered.
