Description

Quiet driveline vibration and keep the transmission properly located with the Anchor Rear Transmission Mount 2242. This rear mount supports the transmission and dampens vibration, and it drops in across a wide range of classic Ford and Mercury applications, including the 1963-1971 Ford Country Squire, 1963-1971 Ford Galaxie 500 and 1963-1970 Ford Fairlane. Vibration isolation: helps support and locate the transmission while damping vibration transmitted to the chassis.
OE-standard engineering: engineered to OE standards using Anchor's CAD/CAM process for consistent quality.
Durable rubber: uses natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages, with the rubber built to a specific durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
Strong bond: a Chemlock® bonding agent is used for a superior rubber-to-metal bond.
