Description

Help cushion driveline vibration and keep the rear of your automatic transmission properly located with the Anchor transmission mount 8996, a rear automatic transmission mount that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1998-2004 Toyota Tacoma. This mount helps support the transmission and isolate the vibration it sends into the chassis — if a cracked or separated original mount is behind vibration at idle or a clunk on acceleration, shifting, or deceleration, this replaces it.

Supports and dampens: cushions and helps locate the rear of the transmission while absorbing normal driveline vibration.
Engineered to OE standards: designed using a CAD/CAM process for consistent fit and quality.
Durable rubber: built from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages, molded to an application-specific durometer (hardness).
Strong bond: Chemlock® bonding agent creates a superior rubber-to-metal bond. Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.
