Description

Tame engine torque roll and rocking with the Anchor Engine Torque Strut Mount 2949, a front lower unit that helps support and locate the powertrain while limiting fore-and-aft movement under acceleration and deceleration. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2000-2002 Chrysler Neon, 2001-2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser, 2000-2005 Dodge Neon, and 2000-2001 Plymouth Neon.

Controls torque roll: the torque strut design resists engine roll and rocking to keep the powertrain located.
Engineered to OE standards: designed using the latest CAD/CAM engineering process for consistent quality.
Durable rubber: natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life, with a Chemlock® bonding agent for a superior rubber-to-metal bond.
Application-tuned: the rubber is manufactured to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on vehicle application requirements.

Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade #5 bolts; consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused. If a worn or failed strut mount is the cause of your symptoms, this replaces it.
