Quiet your ride and route exhaust gases cleanly out the back with the AP Exhaust muffler assembly (MPN 40019). It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2012 Ford Taurus and 2008-2009 Mercury Sable, both with the V6-3.5L engine, covering the listed applications.
A muffler dampens exhaust noise while carrying spent gases toward the tailpipe. Signs the original may need replacing include a louder or raspy exhaust note, a rattle from internal baffles breaking loose, or visible rust-through and leaks. If a failed muffler is the cause of your excessive exhaust noise, this replaces it.
