Arnott Industries Air Shock Absorber P/N:AS-2185
Keep your Cadillac's rear air leveling system working while swapping in a more reliable passive setup with the Arnott Industries Rear Air Shock Absorber AS-2177. This air-assisted shock kit provides adjustable load support and installs directly on the listed applications with no modifications: the 1997-1999 Cadillac DeVille, 1997-2002 Cadillac Eldorado, and 1997 Cadillac Seville (see the Buyer's Guide tab for full engine details). Designed for vehicles NOT equipped with Road Sensing Suspension.
These are passive replacement shocks, so if the original electronic ride components have failed, this kit replaces the rear pair. For best results it is recommended to replace in pairs. Signs a rear shock may need replacing include excessive bouncing, reduced ride control, or fluid leakage from the shock body.
