Arnott Industries Air Suspension Strut P/N:AS-5086
Designed to hold your truck's front ride height and deliver an OE-like ride, the Arnott Industries Air Suspension Strut AS-3017 is a complete front air strut assembly built with OE-quality components. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2018 RAM 1500 and for 2015-2018 RAM 1500 Express, Tradesman, SXT, Big Horn, Lone Star, Outdoorsman, Sport, Laramie Longhorn and Lara models. Arnott's exclusive design fits both the left and right sides, so one part number covers either front corner.
The air strut combines an air spring and a shock absorber in one assembly. It helps support the front of the truck on pressurized air while the shock damps suspension movement. Signs it may need replacing include a front corner that sags after the truck sits, an air compressor that runs more often than usual, audible air leaks, or a bouncy, unsettled ride. Diagnose the air system before replacing the strut, since air lines, valves or the compressor can cause similar symptoms.
For best results, replacing the struts in pairs is recommended. Note: not recommended for EcoDiesel engine models. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
