Keep the rear left corner of your 2011-2018 Porsche Cayenne supported and damped with the Arnott Industries Air Suspension Strut AS-3167. This new, complete strut assembly replaces the OE strut on the 2011-2018 Porsche Cayenne (92A) and installs at the rear left position. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment details.

The assembly is built with OE-quality components. It pairs a custom-tuned Eibach shock absorber with a multi-ply Continental ContiTech air spring sleeve: the air spring helps support the vehicle while the shock controls suspension motion. This strut converts the corner from adaptive to passive damping.

  • Eibach shock absorber: custom-designed and tuned for ride quality and performance.
  • ContiTech air spring: multi-ply sleeve for added strength, protected by an aluminum can.
  • Machined top mount: CNC-machined from aircraft-quality aluminum.
  • Seals and fittings: Arnott seals, O-rings, bump stop, heavy-duty crimping rings, air fitting and connector valve, plus a dust boot to protect the strut.

The strut is designed and assembled in the USA and ships pre-assembled for easier installation. Detailed installation instructions are available. For best results, Arnott recommends replacing struts in pairs.

Signs this part may need replacing include a rear corner that sags, an audible air leak, a compressor that runs more often than usual, or a bouncy, unsettled ride.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which position does the Arnott AS-3167 fit?

It is the rear left air suspension strut for the 2011-2018 Porsche Cayenne (92A). Arnott recommends replacing struts in pairs for best results, so plan to replace the opposite rear strut at the same time.

Does this strut keep adaptive damping?

No. This assembly converts the corner from adaptive to passive damping, using a custom-designed Eibach shock absorber.

Is the AS-3167 a new part?

Yes. AS-3167 is a new, complete air strut assembly built with OE-quality components, designed and assembled in the USA.

What signs may mean the air strut needs replacing?

Common signs include a rear corner that sags when parked, an audible air leak, the compressor running more than usual, or a bouncy ride. Diagnose the cause first, because air lines, valves or the compressor can also be at fault.

Is installation difficult?
