An air suspension strut combines an air spring, fed by the vehicle's compressor, with a shock absorber that controls body motion. Signs this part may need replacing include a rear left corner that sags after the vehicle sits, a compressor that runs more often than usual, hissing near the strut, or a bouncy ride. Air-line or valve leaks and a weak compressor can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing. If a failed rear left strut is the cause, this assembly replaces it.
