Supply the hydraulic pressure your power-assisted steering depends on with the Atlantic Automotive Engineering (AAE) Power Steering Pump 5898N, a new hydraulic unit built as a direct replacement for a failed OEM pump. Installation tip: AAE highly recommends replacing the steering fluid reservoir along with the pump, because a clogged reservoir can starve the replacement pump. To support long life and OE performance, flush the steering system and fill it with an OE-approved power steering fluid.

Signs that a power steering pump may need replacing include a whine when turning, heavier steering effort, or fluid leaking from the pump. Diagnose the cause first. If the original pump is at fault, the 5898N replaces it.
