- OE-style castings: Designed for strong performance and extended service life, with material that meets SAE international standards for structural integrity.
- Precision-machined friction surfaces: Made for smooth operation and reduced noise. Machined finishes also give a cleaner look through the wheels.
- 100% mill balanced: Intended for vibration-free performance.
- Black painted exterior: The exterior carries a protective coating for corrosion resistance.
A brake drum turns with the wheel and gives the brake shoes a surface to press against when you apply the brakes. Signs that a drum may need replacing include a pulsating brake pedal, grinding or scraping noises, visible scoring or cracks, and wear beyond the drum's service limit. Replacing both rear drums together is recommended for even, balanced braking.
