KYB Coil Spring Insulator P/N:SM5521

Quiet a noisy, harsh-riding front suspension with the KYB Coil Spring Insulator SM5521, a KYB coil spring insulator that seats between the coil spring and its mounting perch. It installs as a direct-fit replacement in the front lower position for the 1993-2002 Mercury Villager and 1993-2002 Nissan Quest (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level detail).

This spring seat insulator cushions the coil spring at its mount, dampening the road vibration and metal-on-metal contact that old, hardened insulators transmit into the body.
