In the A/C loop, the condenser receives hot, high-pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor and releases its heat to the outside air, so the refrigerant condenses into a liquid before it moves on through the system. Signs a condenser may need replacing include warm air from the vents, weak cooling at idle or in slow traffic, refrigerant leaks, and bent or corroded fins. Have the A/C system diagnosed before replacing parts, because other components can cause the same symptoms. If a failed condenser is the cause, DENSO 477-0771 replaces it.
