A/C Receiver Drier for 1996-2005 Honda Civic & More - DENSO 478-2012

Help keep moisture and debris out of your air conditioning system with the DENSO Auto Parts A/C Receiver Drier, part number 478-2012, built to tight tolerances for durability under high pressure. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1996-2005 Honda Civic, 1997-2001 Honda CR-V and 2000-2006 Honda Insight, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.

• Moisture and debris removal: Removes moisture and debris from the refrigerant to help protect the rest of the A/C system.
• Refrigerant flow management: Manages the flow of liquid and vapor refrigerant through the system and is designed for smooth, surge-free operation.
• Desiccant package: Contains a powerful desiccant package that isolates harmful moisture. This helps protect internal components from corrosion, which can wear a system from the inside out and lead to costly leaks.
• First Time Fit®: Part of DENSO's First Time Fit® line and manufactured to stringent factory standards.

Receiver-driers are easy to overlook during regular vehicle service, but they play an important role in how the A/C system operates. Leading service authorities often recommend replacing the receiver drier whenever major A/C service is performed. If cooling has dropped off or the system has been opened for repair, diagnose the cause first. If the receiver drier is due for replacement, DENSO 478-2012 replaces it.
