Dorman - First Stop Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder Kit P/N:33150
Bring a leaking drum brake wheel cylinder back to sealing service with the Dorman - First Stop Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder Kit 3609. It's made to rebuild the front or rear wheel cylinder across a broad list of vintage applications — including the 1936 Cadillac Series 70, 1937 Cadillac Series 60, 1948-1952 Ford F-1, 1962-1965 Ford Fairlane and many more reaching into the mid-1990s (see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list).
In a drum brake, hydraulic pressure pushes the wheel cylinder's cups and pistons outward to spread the brake shoes against the drum. Over time the rubber cups and boots harden or tear and let fluid seep past. If worn seals are the cause of a fluid leak or a soft pedal, these components reseal the bore.
Country of origin: China. Manufacturer part number 3609.

How many kits do I need?

What does a drum brake wheel cylinder do?
Hydraulic pressure pushes its cups and pistons outward to press the brake shoes against the drum. Worn cups can leak fluid and lead to a soft pedal.
