Inside a drum brake, this cylinder receives pressurized brake fluid and drives its pistons outward, forcing the shoes against the drum. It was engineered as a direct replacement to match the original wheel cylinder's fit, function and performance on the listed vehicles, then manufactured and tested for quality.

• Cast-iron body: the bore is surface-tested to provide an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups.
