Dorman - First Stop Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder P/N:W19237

Bring hydraulic muscle back to the front drum brakes with the Dorman - First Stop Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder W19237. Mounted at the front axle, this wheel cylinder converts hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder into the mechanical force that pushes the brake shoes outward against the drum. It's a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of vintage Checker, Packard and Studebaker models (see the fitment below).

• Direct replacement: engineered to match the original wheel cylinder's fit, function and performance on the listed vehicles, then manufactured and tested for quality.
• Cast iron body, 1 in bore: the bore is surface-tested to provide an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups.
• EPDM rubber cups and boots: for long-lasting sealing performance.
• Bleeder screw included: ready to bleed; the bleeder screw cap is not included. The inlet thread size is 3/8-24 in.

Replacing the wheel cylinder while servicing the drum brakes is a practical, cost-effective repair. The listed applications use two cylinders (one per side); this package contains one, so order two for a complete front-axle job and replace both sides together for balanced braking.
