This rear wheel cylinder is engineered as a direct match for the original unit on the 1971-1973 Nissan 1200, 1968-1973 Nissan 510, 1973-1976 Nissan 610, 1974-1977 Nissan 710, 1974-1975 Nissan B210 and 1984-1985 Nissan Sakura (All engines). It uses brake-line hydraulic pressure to push the shoes outward against the drum, so a corroded or leaking original that lets the pedal go soft is a prime candidate for replacement.
