Description

Reconnect a catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold flange after the original studs have rusted and snapped, without drilling or torch heating, using the Dorman HELP exhaust flange stud and nut repair kit, part number 23755. It fits many Ford and Lincoln trucks, vans and SUVs, among them the 1999-2010 Ford F-150, 1999-2009 Ford F-250 and 1999-2014 Ford Expedition. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

On certain Ford trucks and vans, the factory studs that join the converter to the manifold flange can rust and break. Removing them often requires drilling and heating, a job that takes time, skill, experience and specialized tools. This kit takes a simpler route and is designed to reconnect the converter and flange with ordinary hand tools. The contoured side of each bracket fits against the flange and around a headless broken stud. An integrated threaded stud on the opposite end passes through the converter mounting hole and is secured with the included stainless steel nuts. Cataloged position: front.
