Dorman - HELP Turn Signal Cam P/N:49308

Replace a worn or broken canceling cam with the Dorman turn signal cam, part number 49308 from the Dorman - HELP line. It is the part that trips the switch's canceling mechanism so the signal can shut off after a turn. A turn signal canceling cam turns with the steering. As the wheel comes back toward center after a turn, the cam contacts the turn signal switch's canceling mechanism, which returns the lever to off. If the original cam is worn or broken, the signal may stay on after a turn until the lever is moved back by hand. When a failed cam is the cause, this part replaces it.
