Dorman - OE Solutions Ignition Lock Cylinder P/N:989-003
Dorman 989-711 ignition lock cylinder for the 2007-2008 Ford Ranger V6 3.0L, the 2007-2010 Ranger 4-cylinder 2.3L or V6 4.0L and other vehicles replaces the lock in the ignition and comes with its own programming tool.
A key that turns stiffly, sticks in the lock or fails to start the engine can mean the lock cylinder is worn. With the engine off, look at the key's teeth for wear or bending and try a spare key first. If the lock is the cause, this kit replaces it. Each vehicle takes one cylinder.
The 2004-2007 Ford Taurus V6 3.0L, the 2008-2010 Ford E-350 Super Duty V8 6.0L and the 2008-2011 E-350 Super Duty V8 5.4L or V10 6.8L take this ignition lock cylinder, as do many more Ford, Mazda and Mercury vehicles. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
