Description

Service a clogged transmission filter without replacing the entire pan using the Dorman OE FIX Transmission Filter Kit, part number 265-850F. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2013-2024 Ram 1500, 2014-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2019-2024 Ram 2500. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.

This transmission pan filter and gasket kit is designed for use with Dorman's 265-850 transmission pan. Because you replace only the filter at service time, it is intended to help reduce maintenance costs compared with using original equipment.

Cost-effective replacement: lets you service a clogged filter directly instead of replacing the whole pan.
Application specific: designed for fit and performance with certain pans on certain vehicles.
Kit contents: a new transmission pan filter, a gasket and screws.
Quality engineering: designed in the United States and backed by decades of automotive aftermarket experience.

A transmission filter traps contaminants in the transmission fluid as it circulates. Delayed or harsh shifts, slipping or unusual transmission noise are signs the filter may need replacing. If a clogged filter is the cause, this kit replaces it along with the gasket. Follow the vehicle service information for the correct fluid, fill level and screw torque.
