Tame engine torque roll and rocking with the Anchor Engine Torque Strut Mount 8698, the right, right upper strut mount that helps support and locate the powertrain while limiting fore-and-aft movement under acceleration and deceleration. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1997-2001 Toyota Camry and 1999-2001 Toyota Solara (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level details).

  • Controls torque roll: The torque strut is designed to limit engine rock and movement so the powertrain stays located during hard acceleration and shifting.
  • Engineered to OE standards: Developed using a CAD/CAM engineering process for consistent fit and quality.
  • Natural & Styrene Butadiene rubber: Resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life; rubber is built to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
  • Chemlock® bond: Chemlock® bonding agent provides a superior rubber-to-metal bond. Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.

Worn strut mounts often show up as vibration at idle, a clunk on acceleration or shifting, or cracked/separated rubber. If a failed torque strut mount is the cause, this replaces it.
