Four Seasons A/C Accumulator P/N:83296
Keep clean, dry refrigerant circulating through your A/C system with the Four Seasons A/C Accumulator (MPN 33181). It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1985-1988 Pontiac Fiero — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment details.
Mounted on the low-pressure side, the accumulator / filter drier acts as a filter, using a desiccant bag to absorb moisture and trap contaminants that flushing alone can't remove — which is why replacing it is essential whenever the system is serviced. A leaking or "open" system can saturate the desiccant bag within a few hours, leaving the unit ineffective, so a fresh accumulator is a key part of a proper A/C repair.
Produced in an ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility, Four Seasons backs this unit with over 50 years of mobile A/C experience. Note that replacing the accumulator / filter drier is required to validate many compressor warranties and should be done anytime the system is opened.
