Four Seasons A/C Evaporator Core P/N:54998
Four Seasons 44054 A/C evaporator core for the 2001-2003 Mazda Protege and other vehicles cools cabin air as refrigerant passes through it. The plate and fin core design meets or exceeds OE performance and efficiency.
Weak cooling from the vents or refrigerant loss can mean the evaporator core is leaking. Poor cooling alone does not show the evaporator is at fault, since low refrigerant from a leak elsewhere in the system gives the same result.
This is a direct-fit replacement for the 2001-2003 Mazda Protege and the 2002-2003 Mazda Protege5. Both cars take a single core.
