Backed by Four Seasons' decades of mobile A/C experience, this drier should be replaced any time the system is serviced and is required to validate compressor warranty.
What does this receiver drier do?
It acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants from the A/C system. These contaminants can't be flushed out, so replacing the drier restores that filtering function when the system is opened.
Are gaskets and seals included?
Yes. The necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included with this unit for the installation.
When should I replace the receiver drier?
Four Seasons advises replacing it any time the A/C system is serviced or opened, since a leaking or open system can saturate the desiccant within a few hours.
Does this fit my truck?
It's a direct-fit replacement for 40 heavy-truck applications spanning Autocar, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt and Western Star. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the exact year and model.
Does replacing the drier affect compressor warranty?
Per Four Seasons, replacement of the filter drier is required to validate compressor warranty and it must be replaced any time the system is serviced.
