Keep your BMW's engine cooling fan responding to under-hood temperature with the Four Seasons Engine Cooling Fan Clutch 46002. This standard-rotation, thermal standard-duty fan clutch drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the listed BMW inline-six applications: the 1988-1992 735i and 735iL (L6-3.5L), the 1989-1993 535i (L6-3.5L), the 1991-1993 M5 (L6-3.6L), the 2001-2006 M3 (L6-3.2L), and the 2001-2002 Z3 (L6-3.2L). Driven off the engine, the thermal clutch engages the fan as temperatures climb to help pull air through the radiator, and freewheels when cool to reduce fan noise and parasitic drag.
