This temperature switch threads into the radiator and senses coolant temperature there. When the coolant reaches its turn-on point, the switch energizes the cooling fan circuit. As the coolant cools past its turn-off point, the circuit opens again. The switch is built for specific vehicle applications, and it meets or exceeds OEM requirements.
- Brass construction: the brass construction is intended to give accurate temperature sensing.
- Zinc-coated terminal: the terminal is coated to resist corrosion.
- Sealing included: the switch comes with the gaskets, O-rings or seals needed to replace it properly.
