This Four Seasons hvac blower motor is engineered and tested by a brand with more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience. Key features:
- OE-level design: designed to meet or surpass O.E. design and performance.
- Magnet: magnetic size and properties compare to or exceed the OEM motor.
- Windings: built to OEM specifications or better.
- Motor speed: RPM equal to or higher than the OEM motor.
- Configuration: single shaft, vented, clockwise rotation. The blower wheel is not included.
The blower motor spins the fan wheel that pushes air through the HVAC system and out of the vents for heating, cooling and defrosting. It may need replacing if the blower runs intermittently or not at all, airflow is weak, or the blower housing grinds or squeals. Diagnose the cause first, because resistors, switches and wiring can cause similar symptoms. If a failed motor is the cause, this unit replaces it. Because the wheel is not supplied, transfer the existing wheel or get a new one as the service procedure directs.
