It fits many vehicles, among them the 1975-1979 Ford F-150, 1975-1979 Ford F-250 and 1967-1973 Ford Mustang, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. The HVAC blower motor spins the blower wheel that pushes air across the heater core and, where equipped, the A/C evaporator, then out through the vents. If a failing motor is behind weak or no airflow, a blower that runs only some of the time, or whining and grinding from the blower area, this unit replaces it.
- Double-shaft, CW design: a closed motor with a shaft at each end and clockwise rotation, supplied without the blower wheel.
- O.E. design and performance: built to equal or better the original design and performance.
- Magnets and windings: magnetic size and properties compare to or exceed OEM, and the windings are built to OEM specifications or better.
- Motor speed: RPM equal to or greater than the OEM motor.
Four Seasons engineers and tests this motor, drawing on more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience. The blower wheel is not included, so transfer or replace the wheel as directed by the vehicle service procedure, and follow that procedure for removal and installation.
