Designed to manage cabin fan speeds, this Four Seasons switch, the front HVAC Blower Motor Resistor / Switch, part number 20293, helps set blower motor speed by controlling the current the motor receives. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2002 Chevrolet C1500 and 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list. Four Seasons lists this part under both names: HVAC Blower Motor Resistor and Switch.
- Vehicle-specific applications: built for the listed vehicles rather than as a universal part.
- Quality contacts: designed for proper electrical conductivity.
- OE-style connectors: connectors styled after the original equipment.
- Engineered and tested: Four Seasons engineers and tests its products and has more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience.
Signs this part may need replacing include a blower that runs on only some speed settings, such as working only on high, or a fan that will not run at any speed. Other HVAC faults can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the blower circuit first. If a failed resistor is the cause, the 20293 replaces it.
