Description

Keep coolant flowing between the auxiliary water pump and the electric heater with the Gates HVAC Heater Hose 51968 — a GATES heater hose supplied as a complete modular coolant hose assembly. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2017 Ford Fusion and the 2017 Lincoln MKZ.

Gates leads the modular assembly coolant hose segment, building each hose to fit specific applications with OE-exact integrated components — hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors and restrictors — pre-installed where the original used them.

EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone- and chemical-coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Collapse resistant: specifically engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum.
ECD resistant: engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure.
Rated: meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25 mm (1 in.) ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25 mm and over; temperature range -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).

This hose serves the auxiliary water pump to electric heater circuit. Gates recommends installing new clamps whenever a coolant hose is replaced. Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.
