Description

Keep coolant flowing through the cooling circuit with the GATES heater hose 51971, a ThermalPro Premium Molded Coolant Hose that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Volt in the battery radiator (inlet) position. This GATES molded heater hose is pre-shaped to fit and to help maintain a properly sealed connection.

Molded, pre-shaped design: Formed to fit the intended coolant application for a properly sealed connection.
EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Vacuum and degradation resistant: Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum and resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
Meets spec: Meets the requirements of SAE 20R4 class D2 and DIN 73411 class A (except for tolerances); rated -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).
