It is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, including the 2009-2016 Audi A4 (L4-2.0L), 2009-2014 Volkswagen Tiguan (L4-2.0L), 2010-2012 Audi Q5 (V6-3.2L), 2011-2015 Audi Q7 (V6-3.0L), and 2012-2014 Audi A8 Quattro (W12-6.3L). A direct injection high pressure fuel pump takes fuel from the low-pressure supply and raises it to the much higher pressure the injectors need to spray fuel directly into the cylinders. Hard or long starting, hesitation under load, rough running, or fuel-pressure trouble codes are signs this part may need replacing. These symptoms can have other causes, so diagnose the fuel system first. If a failed pump is the cause, HPP0010 replaces it.
