KYB Suspension Shock Absorber P/N:KG5571

Smooth out the ride and rein in body motion with the KYB shock absorber KG5571, a high-pressure monotube gas unit that drops in as a rear replacement for the 1988-1996 Chevrolet Corvette (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). This is KYB's Gas-a-just monotube design, offered as an OE monotube replacement intended to restore the vehicle's original control and handling.

The Gas-a-just runs two separate working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, and a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that supports a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds performance on demand.

• Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth rod finish helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
