Description

Restore controlled, confident handling on your Subaru with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut (P/N 334111), a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design built to bring damping back to the vehicle's original, designed performance. It installs in the front right position as a direct-fit replacement for the 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza and 1992-1999 Subaru Legacy — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.

OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket): made on KYB's OE assembly lines using OE-quality components and calibrated to restore original capability, not change it.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand assembled in-house to manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Triple-lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Strong, thick strut body and brackets: designed to minimize flex and help maintain correct alignment.

KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5361) to reduce the chance of noise and vibration, and protecting the strut with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB103). Struts wear as a pair — for balanced ride control, replace the matching side at the same time. Made in USA.
