It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2009 Ford Fusion, 2007-2009 Lincoln MKZ, 2006 Lincoln Zephyr, and 2006-2009 Mercury Milan — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.

Excel-G (OEA) design: a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube unit built on KYB's OE assembly lines to help restore original, designed damping performance rather than change it.
Triple-lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out of the strut.
Vehicle-specific valving: hand-assembled, in-house damping valves manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Strong strut body and brackets: thick construction minimizes flex to help maintain correct alignment.
