A suspension ball joint joins the suspension arm to the knuckle and lets the two pivot against each other as the wheel travels over the road. Signs a ball joint may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, play or looseness at the wheel, and uneven tire wear. Have the suspension inspected first. If a worn rear upper ball joint is the cause, MS80502 replaces it.
