The bushing presses into the control arm and cushions the pivot point where the arm attaches to the frame, absorbing road vibration and helping keep the arm located through suspension travel. Over time the rubber can crack, harden or separate. Signs it may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, looseness or excessive movement in the front suspension, uneven or accelerated tire wear, and steering that wanders. If a worn front lower control arm bushing is the cause of those symptoms, this replaces it. Sold individually; order the quantity your suspension requires.
