Smooth out the ride and keep the rear wheels planted with the Monroe OESpectrum Rear Suspension Shock Absorber 5667. It's a direct-fit replacement for the rear of the 2013-2020 Ford Fusion (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine applications), designed to restore the vehicle's original factory drivability and handling while filtering out noise, vibration and harshness.

  • Reduced NVH: The Twin Technology Active Control System is built to deliver control under most driving conditions while isolating impact-related noise, vibration and harshness.
  • Tuned damping: Full displaced valving is tuned to the vehicle and works with a larger bore for more efficient, consistent damping control.
  • Control and durability: A PTFE-banded piston provides consistent sealing between the piston and pressure tube, and OE all-weather fluid contains additives to help handle temperature extremes and reduce oil breakdown.
  • Nitrogen gas-charge: Helps maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration and shock fade.

A self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces friction against the piston rod to help limit premature wear. If worn rear shocks are the cause of a bouncy ride, poor body control, or uneven tire wear, this unit replaces them. Backed by Monroe's Limited Lifetime Warranty and Feel the Difference Guarantee. Sold individually; replacing both rear shocks as a pair is recommended for balanced ride control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this shock fit my Ford Fusion?

It's a direct-fit rear suspension shock absorber for the 2013-2020 Ford Fusion. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the application for your specific vehicle.

Is this a front or rear shock?

This is a rear suspension shock absorber. It replaces one rear shock on the listed Ford Fusion applications.

Should I replace both rear shocks at the same time?

This listing is for one shock, sold individually. Replacing both rear shocks together as a matched pair is recommended for even, balanced ride control.

What are signs my rear shocks may need replacing?

Common signs include a bouncy or floaty ride, excessive body movement over bumps, and uneven tire wear. Diagnose the cause before replacing, as other components can produce similar symptoms.

Is this shock gas-charged?

Yes. It uses a nitrogen gas-charge that helps maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration and shock fade for improved ride and handling.
