Nugeon Disc Brake Caliper P/N:97-03303B
Replace a leaking or sticking right-front caliper with the Nugeon brake caliper 97-00544B, a remanufactured disc brake caliper for the FRONT RIGHT wheel. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1993-2002 Mercury Villager (All engines) and the 1993-2002 Nissan Quest (All engines), with one used per application.
The caliper holds the brake pads. Hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder pushes its piston outward, clamping the pads against the rotor to slow the wheel.
Not included: brake pads, the caliper bracket, bracket bolts, mounting bolt, caliper slides, anti-squeal shims and wear sensors. The caliper is cataloged for FMSI pad D576.
Signs a caliper may need replacing include a pull to one side while braking, fluid seeping from the piston or bleeder, a dragging wheel, or one pad wearing faster than the other. Diagnose the cause before replacing, and bleed the brake system after installation. This listing is one front right caliper; the front left caliper is a separate part. Country of origin: Mexico.
Does this caliper come with brake pads or a mounting bracket?
No. Pads, the caliper bracket, bracket bolts, mounting bolt, caliper slides, anti-squeal shims and wear sensors are not included. It does include the bleeder screw and cap, dust boots, crush washers, and caliper and pad hardware.
Which Nissan Quest brake caliper position is this?
It is the front right caliper for the 1993-2002 Nissan Quest and the 1993-2002 Mercury Villager (All engines), with one used per application. The front left caliper is a separate part.
Is this Nugeon caliper new or remanufactured?
It is remanufactured. It has a cast iron housing, a single 60 mm (2.36 in) phenolic piston and a rust-preventative finish in a natural color, and its country of origin is Mexico.
What brake pad does this caliper use?
It is cataloged for FMSI pad D576. Pads are not included, so order a set to install with the caliper.
What are signs a caliper may need replacing?
Common signs include a pull to one side while braking, fluid leaking at the piston or bleeder, a dragging wheel, or uneven pad wear. Diagnose the cause first, because hoses or pads can produce similar symptoms.
