Smooth out the ride and keep your classic Ford truck composed with the Rancho RS5000X Suspension Shock Absorber (RS55014) — a front-position Rancho shock absorber engineered for improved on- and off-road handling. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1961-1965 Ford F-100, the 1977-1979 Ford F-150, and the 1961-1979 Ford F-250 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment).

Cross Tuned technology: an exclusive rebound valving system plus advanced compression phase designed to improve overall handling and performance on and off road.
Progressive Engagement Valving: custom-tuned for the vehicle to help reduce initial low-speed impacts and minimize a rough ride.
Strong and durable build: 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion, double-welded loops at stress areas, a 35mm sintered iron piston, and a polyvinyl protective boot.
Handles extreme temperatures: a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation, rated to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248°F.
