Keep clean oil moving to your oil pump with the Melling Performance Engine Oil Pump Pickup Tube and Screen 12557. This pickup assembly draws oil from the pan and strains out debris before it can reach the pump, helping protect the pump and the rest of the lubrication system. It fits a wide range of V8 applications, including the 1988-1999 Chevrolet C1500 and K1500 [V8-5.7L] and the 1958-1985 Chevrolet Impala [V8-4.4L, V8-4.6L, V8-5.0L, V8-5.3L, V8-5.4L, V8-5.7L, V8-6.6L] — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
Galvanized steel screen: filters contaminants out of the oil drawn from the pan on the suction side, before it enters the pump.
Straight tube: 5.000 in (127 mm) long with a 0.750 in (19.00 mm) inside diameter and a two-hole mounting flange.
Adjustable pickup height: up to 0.250 in (6.00 mm) to help set proper clearance to the pan floor.
