Firm up a bouncy, loose ride and restore controlled damping with the KYB shock absorber Excel-G (P/N 3440037), a rear-position, nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube shock. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2019 Ford Taurus and 2009-2012 Lincoln MKS — see the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the engine and configuration for your vehicle.

OEA-grade Excel-G build: this nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube gas shock absorber is made on the same KYB OE assembly lines with the same OE-quality components, calibrated to restore the original designed damping rather than change it.
Triple-lip fluid seal: designed to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand-assembled in-house to manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Strong, thick body and brackets: help minimize flex to maintain correct alignment, and help keep electronic safety systems performing as designed.
