Help keep cold air flowing from the vents with the Spectra Premium ac condenser, part number 7-4283. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500; see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
In the A/C system, the condenser takes hot, high-pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor. It releases that heat to the air passing through the core, so the refrigerant condenses back into a liquid before it moves on through the system.
Signs the condenser may need replacing include warm air from the vents, refrigerant or oily residue on the core, and bent or damaged fins. Have the A/C system diagnosed before replacing parts, because other components can cause similar symptoms. Engine details for each application are listed on the Buyer's Guide tab.

It takes hot, high-pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor and releases heat to the passing air. This condenses the refrigerant to a liquid before it continues through the A/C system.
What are signs the A/C condenser may need replacing?
Warm air from the vents, refrigerant or oily residue on the core, and bent or damaged fins can indicate a failing condenser. Have the A/C system diagnosed first, since other parts can cause similar symptoms.
How is this Spectra Premium condenser built?
It is reverse engineered for proper fit and supplied in the same construction style as the OEM unit. Spectra Premium's specialty testing focuses on leak-free operation and reduced movement and vibration.
