Restore cabin heat and proper coolant flow through the dash with the Spectra Premium HVAC Heater Core 98136. This front-mounted heater core routes hot engine coolant through its tubes and fins so the blower can push warm air into the passenger compartment, and it drops in as a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of Mercedes-Benz GL, ML and R models.
- Front position: Serves as the front HVAC heater core for the listed applications.
- Coolant-to-air heat exchanger: Carries engine coolant through its core so the heater system can deliver warm air to the cabin.
- Built to replace the original: Spectra Premium's engineering, manufacturing technology and quality control help these heater cores match or surpass the performance of the equipment they replace.
Signs this part may need replacing include weak or no heat from the vents, a sweet coolant smell inside, fogging on the windshield, or coolant seepage under the dash. If a failed heater core is the cause, this unit replaces it.
