Raise and hold your door with controlled, smooth motion using the Stabilus Door Lift Support 5B-068146 — a hydraulically dampened, gas-charged lift support measuring 14.29 inches. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1981-1983 DeLorean DMC 12 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full engine-level fitment). A lift support like this holds the door open and cushions its travel; worn units that no longer hold the door up, drift closed, or feel weak or jerky are signs this part may need replacing.
