Description

Raise your hood with a smooth, controlled motion using the Stabilus Hood Lift Support 2B-006954, a gas-charged strut with dynamic speed control. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2010 Hyundai Sonata (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment) and measures 28.64 inches. Based on the OE design to help ensure proper fit, form and function, it holds the hood open and supports raising and lowering it.

Dynamic damping speed control: creates a fluid opening motion with no bouncing or jerking during cycling.
Lift-O-Mat by Stabilus: uses a longitudinal velocity-manifold groove pressed into the tube wall, letting gas flow around the piston with extension speed and damping tuned for this application; the groove narrows toward the end of the stroke for a gentle, controlled stop.
Corrosion-tested coatings: part coatings tested to automotive standards for corrosion resistance.
