Raise your hood and hold it steady with the Stabilus Hood Lift Support 5B-2446YW, a 12.60-inch gas-charged lift support with dynamic speed control. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2015 Land Rover LR2 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details), delivering the smooth, controlled hood motion this Lift-O-Mat design is built for.

• Dynamic damping speed control: A velocity-manifold groove pressed into the tube wall lets gas flow around the piston with extension speed and damping tuned for this application, for a fluid opening motion with no bouncing or jerking during cycling.
